The speech impediment stuttering has often been in the news during the last decade and this has helped the general public to become much more aware of the problem and has given them a much better understanding of it. In this article I will review some of the facts about stuttering including information about the types of treatment that are currently available.
So how many people do have a stutter? This is a question that I am often asked and it is believed that around one percent of the population have this type of speech impediment. That may not sound like a lot but when you think about it a bit deeper it means that in a school which has five hundred people there will be five students who have a stutter.
A second fact and one that is now fairly well known is that between sixty and seventy percent of the people who have a stutter are male. This could well be because men/boys do not generally like talking about their problems or weaknesses.
So what are the available treatments for stuttering? Well again this is another question that I am asked on a very regularly basis and below in order of success, the most beneficial treatments being at the top; are some of the most popular stuttering treatments:

3. A self-help stuttering therapy audio-book
4. A self-help stuttering therapy e-book

Famous people such as the singer Gareth Gates and the politician Joe Biden have helped raise the profile of stuttering over the last few years and I hope that people will now be more caring when talking to people who have this form of speech impediment. |

Suffering from learning disability is a very frustrating and disabling condition. Years ago dyslexia is a not a known condition and there are no tests available to identify the presence of this disorder. Sufferers grew up with their disability affecting their work and daily activities. Some have developed low self-esteem. Now screening test is available to find out if you are dyslexic. It is important to confirm if you really have dyslexia to seek the necessary treatment.
Knowing what you are going through and understanding about your learning disability is the first step in seeking treatment. Dyslexia is a learning disability that impairs a person's ability to process certain information despite of having normal intelligence. Dyslexia has nothing to do with intelligence because there are dyslexics who became successful in their profession despite of their disability. There are treatments available and it is essential to get the necessary evaluation and testing to find out if you are dyslexic.
One way to find out if you are dyslexic is to know the common symptoms of adult dyslexia. Although symptoms may vary from person to person, there are common symptoms of dyslexia. Some of the common signs of this learning disability are difficulty in reading, comprehension, spelling, distinguishing directions like left and right, following instructions and dealing with numbers or mathematical operation.
If you have the common symptoms it is best to take a comprehensive dyslexia screening test to find out if you are dyslexic. Different people have different symptoms of dyslexia and it is important to identify your specific learning disability because treatments are based on specific learning disability of the sufferer. |

Are you aware that there are many things that can cause you to have anxiety? Do you know that it could have come from many things and there are also specific things that can trigger your attacks? There are many causes of anxiety attacks and you need to understand what is causing you to feel these feeling so that you can start to get better. Here are some of the things you need to know about what is causing your problems.
First, you should know that one of the causes of anxiety attacks could be that you got it from one of your parents. It can be caused by genetics, but this is not something that you should worry about. Even if you go through these attacks and they came from genetics you can still get rid of them or at least get control over them. This is just one of the many causes of these attacks.
Second, you have to know that another one of the causes of anxiety attacks is stress. When you put yourself into too many stressful situations and your diet is not very good this combination will allow you to have many attacks and trigger many of them. This is because there will be a chemical imbalance in your body that will allow the attacks to get worse and worse until you cannot take it anymore.
Last, some of the things that can trigger your attacks include things like refined sugars, sudden stress, and alcohol. There are people that have actually walked out on a bar tab because of a panic attack. This is also very normal in those that are alcoholics and this is also something that can happen in someone that just drinks a few times a week. If you stop drinking as much you will end up having less attacks. |

Imagine being at your child's birthday party and all of the sudden it hits you. You end up having an attack from anxiety and all the sudden the world is spinning and nothing seems to fit. This could happen to you and it might have already happened to you. There are ways to treat this condition and here are some tips for panic attacks.
First, you can go see your doctor, but there are some serious problems with this option. They will prescribe you some of the worst pills you can put into your body and you might not even know because they are coming from a doctor. The problem is they will give you anti depressants that will keep you from being able to ever be happy and will cause you to have very little emotion. Plus there can be many other side effects as well.
Second, the tips for panic attacks have to include your diet. When you eat and drink specific things you will be putting yourself into some of the worst positions to have an attack without warning. One of the worst parts of the things you can have is alcohol. Another bad thing that can cause the attacks is refined sugar.
Last, when you need tips for panic attacks you have to know that you can lessen these attacks and you can get rid of them. The first step is to be able to accept that you have these attacks. When you are able to accept that you will have attacks and they will also end, then you will be able to come up with some sort of control over them. |

Through the shamanic perceptual state of energy the soul is revealed as a sphere that contains web-like energy channels extending out beyond the membrane of the sphere. Shamans in South America call these energy channels "Los Rios del Luz" translated from Spanish as "The Rivers of Light." I perceive them as the individual mind that stores imprints and performs as the film of your life projecting onto the liquid mirror universe that we experience as life. These channels, in their natural state, are vibrant with a tremendous flow of life force energy in the form of non-dual light. Someone experiencing this flow will experience the non-dual self as unconditional love and will experience life as harmonious relationships and emotional and spiritual health. This is when soul purpose is freely expressed and fulfillment is experienced.
For the most part however, the human race has stored the denser frequency of fear within these channels by resisting feeling unpleasant emotions or traumas and by practicing the numbing effects of apathy with addictions to distractions such as: TV, drugs, and drama. Energy channels in this case are constricted containing the sludge of unexpressed fear and blocking life force energy that is naturally so abundant and available. In this state, we are not feeling our natural state of unconditional love from the Source or for the self. This is when life circumstances will reflect the stored fear and wounds as disharmony, disease, dysfunction, depression and addiction.
People often ask me to give them psychic readings, but I prefer to empower people to use mirror interpretations to help them identify the imprints that don't serve them so that they can release their wounds and align the mind with the soul. With this tool, you can learn how to be your own healer and the director of the film of your life.
There are different ways that life circumstances and relationships will reflect your conscious and unconscious frequencies. Life reflections can be categorized into 5 groups:
1. Reflections of a wound imprint/fear 2. Reflections of ancestral/cultural beliefs 3. Reflections of your wholeness/love 4. Reflections of your intentions 5. Reflections of your soul's purpose
Reflections of Wounds/Fear
Reflections of wounds or stored fears will be reflected in life in the form of disease, dysfunctional relationships, addiction, depression, anger, numbness, and overall disharmony. Even small fears, such as irritation, frustration, impatience and resistance are rooted in stored wounds.
Reflections of Ancestral and Cultural Beliefs
Immediately upon conception, we unconsciously absorb a structure of belief systems from our parents and the culture that we are born into. Most of these belief structures remain unconscious and contain fear such as resentment towards another culture, shame, and guilt. When we explore our cultural imprints, we find that many of them are limiting the full expression of soul purpose which is ultimately experienced as lack of fulfillment.
Reflections of Wholeness/Love
The more your conscious and unconscious mind is in alignment with its natural state of non-dual unconditional love, the more your life will be experienced as peace, health and harmonious relationships. What has been most fascinating on this path is observing the growth of the love reflections through out my intentional healing path. As we vibrate more harmoniously, we experience deeper and more fulfilling relationships with each of our relations including our earth and all of her inhabitants.
Reflections of Intentions
When setting intentions, using the Law of Attraction or visualizations, it is very helpful to recognize when life is reflecting or giving you what you are asking for. Coincidences are usually options lining up to match your intentions. This way of perceiving life's circumstances can change the way you experience them. Often what may seem as an inconvenience can actually be an opportunity in answer to one of your intentions. For example, sometimes when I have to return home because I forgot something important, my late timing will often cascade into a string of coincidences of meeting just the right people for what I am working on
Reflections of Soul Purpose
I believe we all have a common purpose and an individual purpose. Within the energy channels of our souls, are the energetic programs that reveal our common and individual purposes for being here.
I believe our common purpose is to heal our imbalances and to love each other. Akin to the software of a computer, our minds hold the schematics for what we came to heal and give. In this sense, the grand design is for our wounds to attract that which will trigger and reveal them. We will attract the same kinds of people or circumstances that trigger us over and over again, until we heal the wounds that attract them and express what we came to give.
Your individual soul's purpose can be found within your gifts, talents, and within that which gives you fulfillment. When you are in alignment with your purpose, your life will mirror your purpose by placing you in unique positions where your gifts can be most fully expressed and far reaching. For example, I have often heard the story that getting fired from a job was actually the catalyst that opened the pathways for a soul purpose to be expressed.
Another reflection of your soul's purpose is flow and ease. If you are working on a project that repetitively takes you to dead ends, then this may be a reflection of you being off of your purpose. When there is flow and ease in your day to day activities or for specific projects, following this flow may reveal to you the direction that will give you the most fulfillment.
The mirror of life never lies and is quite revealing when we make honest observations. Every life challenge is a gift and an opportunity for healing and experiencing deeper levels of your wholeness. |
