Reducing Cholesterol Easily

Reducing cholesterol is not usually easy…why? Because it generally involves cutting out all the delicious and tasty things we’ve come to love and enjoy. If only there was some sort of a food that tasted great and reduced cholesterol too!

I present to you, Soy Protein Bars.

Soy protein bars come in a massive variety of different flavors (my favorite being chocolate) and believe it or not, taste great. Now, not many people have tried soy protein bars, and I’m not going to say they’re as tasty as the real thing. But considering how most modern methods of lowering arterial cholesterol involve totally cutting out the things we enjoy. I’d much rather take something amazing, and change it slightly making it healthier and still very enjoyable to eat (would you prefer a salad?!)

That’s why I’m saying that reducing cholesterol is easy, because soy protein bars contain high density lipoproteins instead of low density lipoproteins. LDLs are common in hydrogenated fats and animal fats, so I’m talking items like chocolate bars and bacon. HDLs are specific plant oils most commonly associated with products such as olive oil. What high density lipoproteins do is take cholesterol from the arteries where they can potentially cause damage, and relocate it to the liver where it’s broken down. Cholesterol in the body isn’t a bad thing; it’s when too many LDLs signal the body to take the cholesterol produced in the liver to the arteries. Nowadays we have so many foods rich in LDLs, whereas in the wild it would’ve strengthened our arteries, it now damages them.

That’s why I’m saying that reducing arterial cholesterol deposits is easy, because I’m not asking you to start eating salads and cutting out everything you love. I’m asking you to make a small switch from something delicious to something very tasty! It’s your choice.
