Help Patient Choose a Grow Box

Help Patient Choose a Grow BoxCongratulations! You finally got your medical recommendation! Hmm, what to do next? Well, the first thing that you need to decide is whether to purchase your medicine at a dispensary or grow your own. This can be a tougher decision than one might think. The simple answer would be to just purchase your medicines, just like any other American does, when they go to their local pharmacy. However, with the conflicting state and federal laws, ongoing federal raids on dispensaries, outlandish prices (insurance companies will not pay for ‘organic’ natural medicines, but have no problem paying for opiates), and the stereotype that still lingers to patients seeking relief, one might come to the conclusion that the easiest, most cost effective way to have a steady, affordable supply of medication might just be to grow your own. It is easier than you think, and very cost effective.

First and foremost, if you decide to go the ‘homegrown’ route, is to check your state and local jurisdictions, to make sure that your medical grow is in total compliance, to avoid any unwanted hassle or legal troubles in the future. Now that you are in compliance, you must decide if you are going to grow indoors or outdoors. Outdoor grows are fantastic, as the sun is the absolute best way to grow medicinal herbs, without a doubt. However, many people do not live in locations where the grow period is long enough to produce a steady supply of medication, or they do not have the proper outdoor space to have a grow. If this is the case for you, then a grow room/grow box might be your best bet.

There are an infinite number of things that you can use to construct your own grow box such as computer cases, dressers, closets, tents, etc. However, some folks might not be physically able to construct a grow box, or might not have the skill set to do so. If you fall into this category, you might choose to purchase a pre-made grow box or grow cabinet. This will ensure that you have the correct lighting, air flow, temperature, soils, hydroponic system, etc. A few things to consider when going this route are the quality of the grow enclosure, size, appearance, customer service, and of course price. Also, you need to consider the amount of medication that you might need, and if you are in need of a mother/clone chamber to ensure a perpetual harvest.
